Music Matters Events...

... was founded because fun-seeking couples requested an alternative to the traditional “wedding jock”. We, the founders, met as nightclub DJs where our mixing techniques and music selections earned us residencies and guest spots at the hottest nightlife establishments in the Tri-State area. As our influence grew, so did our circle of friends who regularly came out to see us spin. Naturally, our friends start to meet their significant others, relationships form and those flourish. Relationships turn into engagements and those engagements lead to new milestones.

So our friends are getting engaged and calling upon us to be a part of the big day. “You can’t say no! I won’t have it any other way! You're the only one who gets me!” And they were right. Those that know us have grown accustomed to our unique mixing styles; the trendsetting hits, throwback mixes, eclectic selections, and high-energy music.

It was a no-brainer to agree to play for our friends on their big day. These are the guys and gals who consistently come out to hear us play. They pack the venues, dance all night, chant our names after the last song, and even help us win DJ competitions!  After agreeing to DJ weddings for a select few, their guests started inquiring about our services. The couples received such positive feedback about the entertainment at their weddings that it encouraged us to expand outside of our network. That is how Music Matters Events was born, from uncompromising individuals who requested premier quality entertainment with a high level of sophistication and professionalism.

From a DJs perspective it’s an incredible feeling to play the right song, at the right time and see a dance floor explode with energy.  However, even more special and gratifying is participating in someone’s once-in-a-lifetime occasion and making the day one to remember.
